Hello Everyone,
Welcome to The Invisible Vision Project’s Blog.
It’s that time of the year again, it’s the holiday (Christmas and New Year) Season! It is probably the most happiest season and time of the year for a lot of people. But, it could also be a difficult time of the year for some.
This is also my first time blogging about the winter holiday season since I started blogging in April of this year. So, today’s blog is about my Holiday (Christmas and New Year) plan.
In this holiday season, instead of traveling to places to visit family, relatives and friends, I’ve decided to stay where I am and just relax and have a lot of “Me-Time.” There’re a few of reasons for as to why I made this decision, and the biggest one is health-related. As the winter season I am at the most down time physically, because the cold winter really slows me down, and my physical health was never at its best during the cold season, and it just seem to be getting worse each winter (and not to mention that I’m also Visually Impaired, this just made doing everything even more difficult).
In my last blog in which I wrote at the beginning of the month, I mentioned my very crazy-busy time of writing final paper and prepare for final exam. And, that had already taken a lot of energy from me, so when I finished my last exam of the term on Dec. 16, I was so exhausted! So, more than anything, I want to use this two and nearly three weeks of holiday time to just rest, getting lots and lots of rest so I could be ready for the upcoming winter term!
However, this is not to say that I will be laying in bed all of this holiday season! Of course, I will still get out of the house, going out to watch movies, or dine out with friends, I also have things planned near Christmas to look forward to, and I do have a few friends from other cities mentioned that they’d come and visit me (only if weather permits, and if I feel well enough to hangout). And, I will probably spend some time to think about and prepare some more interesting blog posts for the future (always welcome for topics/suggestions, so just let me know!). And of course, I’ll be taking A LOT of rest, as this is more important than anything for me right now, at this moment, and throughout the winter season!
So, this concludes my Winter Holiday (Christmas and New Year) plan for 2016. I wonder what would you be doing for this winter holiday season? No matter what you do, stay warm and stay safe! And, Happy Holidays Everyone!!! 🙂
Thank you for reading to the end.
