Hello Everyone,
Welcome to The Invisible Vision Project’s Blog.
Today’s blog post is a very special one, as it is a special day for me. It is my birthday! (Yay!!!!). So really, this kind of blog only happens once a year, and this is my first time documenting it on a blog….
And, did I mention, it is currently also very early in the morning as I am writing this, it is just about 8am in the morning! *surprise surprise* and I think I’ve just broke the record, since I don’t believe I have ever wrote a blog this early in the morning! (consider that I am not really a morning person at all :P).
So, I actually have a LOT planned for today, a lot of time spent outside, and this becomes the main reason why I am up so early since I’ve got a lot to do today and I want to start get going!
To be honest, I didn’t really plan to make the birthday celebration as something HUGE, I just want to do a few things that definitely includes something I find meaning to do, and that is to give thanks to those that have helped me. So, giving thanks on special days, like Christmas, or New Years or even on very special days like birthday is and should be a good idea!
However, this doesn’t end the celebration, and it’s only the beginning. As I said, I’ve planned to have the entire day going! And in fact, the celebration already started last night, since I went to an All-You-Can-Eat sushi restaurant for dinner and then, I also stopped by Chapters bookstore and got two books: The Girl On the Train (I want to read this since I didn’t get to see the movie, but I heard the book should be better than the movie), and The Book of Awesome, this book was recommended to me, so based on its title, it sounds pretty awesome, so let’s find out how awesome the book is, shall we?
So, carry on with today’s plans! I believe that it will probably be taking a while to talk to many people that I wish to see and give thanks to (hopefully all the people I wish to see are available to be seen, since I didn’t give anyone prior notice, well, it should be a surprise :P). On top of that, I also plan to go to David’s Tea to grab some of my favorite tea to treat myself (Yes, even though I have a lot of different kinds of tea at home already, there is ABSOLUTELY NO END when the tea-addiction mode is on for me!). While I am at the tea store, I might as well do some window-shopping at other stores, it’s never wrong to treat-yourself on your birthday, right?
Then, I also have a dinner date tonight, with a very good friend of mine. I am very excited for this, as with some friends, even when we live close by, we’re always so busy so we don’t get to see each other often, and this is a good time to catch up!
And, by this point, you might be wondering why I haven’t mention the word, CAKE? Well, the truth is, I am still not sure if I’d be getting one, and the reason is not because I have less friends to celebrate my birthday with, but rather, I am really….ummm…well…not a huge fan of cake or even sweets of any kind. But, this isn’t the end for cake, I will still consider it!
So, this concludes my plan for the day, even though it may not sound very exciting for some people, but it will be enough running around, to keep me busy. But! before all of this is happening, I will need to get out of my bed, do my daily routines, get a cup of tea and get going!
